Golden Eagle Aviators, Inc. is not a club. And it is not a time-share model. It is an equity-partnership corporation. It is Partner-run, Partner-powered. The corporation owns the aircraft. Partners own shares in the corporation and Aircraft Share Rights. Partners fill officer positions by vote of the Partners; be as involved or as hands-off as you want.
Golden Eagle Aviators started as a small group of aviators who wanted to make flying more accessible. GEAV continues to grow and has grown into a well-respected organization with a dedicated group of partners.
In 2022, the organization was founded by a passionate aviator, Pete Petersen, who saw the need for a more inclusive and cost-effective way for pilots to access high-performance aircraft. This means that all partners are equity-owners of GEAV, which owns the aircraft. The initial group of two partners quickly grew as word spread about the benefits of joining Golden Eagle Aviators.
The first aircraft, N69MB, which was renamed N251MB, a 2006 Mooney M20M Bravo GX, was obtained on 11 March 2024. The group has a commitment to providing top-notch aircraft for its partners.
Today, Golden Eagle Aviators is known for its well-maintained aircraft, flexible scheduling, and strong sense of community among its partners. Our history is a story of passion, growth, and dedication to making flying accessible and enjoyable for all our partners.
Aircraft are specifically researched for intended mission, safety, cost, economies, maintenance, and longevity. Our fleet consists of high-performance aircraft that are meticulously maintained to ensure safety and reliability.
